Yes, the E26 base is the normal everyday light bulb socket used everywhere in the US as standard for a very long time now. This bulb is ONLY for 12V DC applications. Positive should be connected to the tip contact and Negative to the collar contact. You will appreciate the amount of light you get.... go for it!

I do not know the lumen output but I would say that it is comparable to between a 60w and a 100w bulb It puts out a lot of light and mine is still going as good as the day I bought it hope that helps

I was looking for a light that is bright, and would last 6-8 hrs (without paying a fortune). I cam across a video on YouTube. This guy bought a brood light and cut the plug off, and wired in a couple battery connectors. Screwed in the bulb, and WOW! It lasted all night, with juice to spare. It only uses about .6 to .7 Ah. If you have a 12Ah 12v battery this light will go for 18 hrs!

I have bought and tried many different low voltage LED bulbs for use on an auxiliary 12 volt DC solar powered system. By nature, LEDs will consume as much current as is available in the power supply, hence they need a current limiting circuit, either external, or preferably integrated into the bulb itself. Many of the cheaper 12 volt LED bulbs now becoming available in the RV/Marine, and off-grid alternative energy markets have simple resistor type current control. In contrast, this bulb contains an active current limiting circuit which protects the bulb from sudden death in the event of higher voltages seen in some charging systems. Most 12 volt LED bulbs cannot withstand voltages higher than 14 volts before suddenly self destructing. This bulb can tolerate up to 20 Volts DC, making it suitable for use even during charging. In addition, this bulb is a perfect match for Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd) and Nickel-Iron (NiFe) battery systems, where normal charging voltages are typical about 16 volts DC. I use this bulb daily in a table lamp, and find it works flawlessly. I highly recommend this bulb.

Perfect according to description. Bought warm light ...great replacement for incandescent. Easier on eyes than GoalZero lite-a-life 12v solar lamp and a screw in replacement. Also works in harbor freight's lights supplied with their 3 panel 45 watt solar kit. Swap these for the HF 12v fluorescent bulbs and increase light and save power.
The light is bright and perfectly even. Lights a 12' x 12' room easily when hung from ceiling. Wonderful for power outages. Shipment was fast ...first class postage about 4-6 days to northern California. Have not had long enough to test for longevity. ...but no obvious manufacturing flaws and item is lightweight and well packaged in styrofoam. Lastly, seller communicated well via email ...with 2-3 hours of sending question/request. Kudos!
